Until yesterday, I really liked going to OBI. Whether it was consultation and friendliness in the store or at the checkout, there was never anything to complain about!! (Big praise to the garden department👍🏻) Unfortunately, I had to experience a really unfriendly situation at the checkout yesterday, like I haven't had in a long time! Sure… everyone has a bad day sometimes, but customers shouldn't have to feel that. That's why two stars deducted.

I would like to sincerely thank the OBI store Sulzbach/Rosenberg, very nice salespeople who are knowledgeable regardless of the issue, they take their time and you don't feel like you're bothering them. Many heartfelt thanks for that, many stores could learn from them.👍👍👍👍

I was at the OBI store in Amberg to buy a board made of beech wood. At least I wanted to. There was a very young employee from the wood cutting department, unfortunately very very unfriendly, annoyed, and really sassy. He was really unfriendly. The desired cut wouldn't work, and the wood isn't there, even though he didn't even look and didn't know my request at all. I was really angry. I then called the OBI in Sulzbach. To see if they have wood cutting there. I spoke with a really very nice competent gentleman [Mr. Koid]. I then drove directly there, Mr. Koid from the wood department sawed my board or made the cut for me. I asked him beforehand if that would work, and he said, of course, why not. Why doesn't it work like that in Amberg? Mr. Koid is a really very nice, competent employee at OBI in Sulzbach. For me, it's clearly 5 stars for the service.

We drove to Sulzbach Rosenberg to pick up reserved items. We were very kindly received by Ms. Böhmer (I hope I remember the name correctly). The items had already been assembled. We were very well advised and also asked if she could help us further. That was a very nice experience and we can recommend this OBI store. 👍
