If I could give more than five stars, I would do it. I was on my way to vacation today and while locking up, my key broke. One half in the lock, the other in my hand. The service on the phone was super friendly and reassuring. Within an hour, a very pleasant and friendly locksmith was there and helped me in no time. I ordered a key safe from the company FELGNER Sicherheitstechnik GmbH & Co. KG via their online shop (Sicher24). I submitted the damaged item I received along with photo documentation of the packaging and photo documentation of the damaged item to the company. Response: I would have to go to the nearest DHL branch with the box and item. They want to make the customer transport an unwieldy, approximately 20 kg heavy item through the pedestrian zone of their city, which cannot be accessed by vehicle, to present it personally at DHL. For me, this is neither feasible from a time perspective nor possible at all with a herniated disc. The resources and especially the time that one would have to spend on this would be higher than the value of the item. Goodwill? Self-critical handling of the situation or the provided repackaging? Feeling responsible for external service providers like a parcel service that one chooses as a business owner? No way, the communication from customer service is quick, but ultimately in my case without a satisfactory solution for the customer - accordingly, I absolutely cannot recommend the company and advise against buying here. Unfortunately, I urgently needed the item and the neighbor accepted the package with the damage. Knowing what I know now, I would have simply let the shipment go back, as one must exceptionally put their green conscience aside.
