The people are friendly and the price is good, but the quality is poor. I brought my kitchen knives to be sharpened; I could have saved the money, they are dull and not properly sharpened. So I will not bring my knives here again.

I am appalled by the unfriendliness of Mr. Lehmann and the lady who runs the shop next door. As a new customer, you are treated in a way that is beneath all standards. After I announced myself by phone last week for today, Monday, I came to the shop, which was closed. After a phone inquiry, I was told to report to the neighboring shop. There, I was met by a fundamentally unsympathetic lady, who made it clear through her demeanor that she absolutely does not care whether one becomes a customer or not. After another call to Mr. Lehmann, I noticed that he apparently also has no need for new customers. At least his tone conveyed this to me. In my life, I will buy nothing there, have nothing engraved, or throw even a cent at these two incredibly unfriendly people. It's shocking that retail can currently allow itself such behavior.

If you value your knives, you shouldn't have them sharpened there. My blades are all bent and crooked after sharpening 👎 I could have done it myself. But I thought that's exactly what the people there can do.
