Totally unfriendly employees in the store. Amateur key assemblers. Really no clue. They even had to send two people. A year after the lock change, the key is very hard to get out of the lock. Although it was a very expensive lock. They do not care about the customer. Just rip-off.

Service and customer orientation are, in my opinion, highly valued at this company. Due to a key theft, I had to replace the locking cylinder for my front door at home. This was carried out professionally, quickly, and easily by the young lady from Fa. Ellerwald. Furthermore, I had to replace the cylinder for the mailbox lock. On site, I immediately received the right one upon presenting a sample. In every respect, I am completely happy with the service and will have all my key/lock issues handled by Fa. We purchased a KESO locking system from the company Ellerwald in 2014. In 2022, we wanted to have a key made using the key card at a local locksmith. It turned out that despite the key card, the rights for these keys do not lie with us but with Ellerwald since our locking system is only partially counted as part of an Ellerwald-owned system, and therefore every key can only and exclusively be obtained from Ellerwald... they charge a princely sum for it. Our local locksmith provided us with the original invoice for 100% transparency. For tax reasons, we wanted to have the invoice rewritten in our name. Ellerwald did not respond at all via email and was very unprofessional over the phone after 4 weeks of inquiry. They said we would have to be charged a processing fee for that. We will replace the locking system in a few years instead of ordering more keys and will avoid the company Ellerwald in the future. We recommend everyone to do the same. Such practices should not be rewarded. Fortunately, there is the internet.
