We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Neugebauer from the wood cutting department. We had a chipboard cut by another colleague. Unfortunately, we had to find out at home that the board was about 6 cm too small in one direction. Since it was a cut, we thought we now had €40 worth of firewood in our hands. Mr. Neugebauer recut the board for us, credited the wrong one, and even compensated for the double trip. That’s what I call customer service, thank you very much for that.

OBI Market is not a bad hardware store. Only when I order something and I'm told it will only take 14 days and in the end it takes 10 to 12 weeks, it was very disappointing. Nevertheless, I will continue to shop at OBI, but only for what I know and can choose myself from what is in the store.

Quality at OBI always seems a bit higher to me than at other hardware stores. Good selection in various price ranges. Advice is variable. It always depends on what the employee knows, or doesn't know. For special inquiries, Leinweber and Raiffeisen are better suited.
