It has become so rare to be able to have things repaired. Sewing, zippers, shoes, keys... I have been a regular customer for over twenty years and have always been very satisfied. I generally do not make recommendations in reviews, only my personal experiences. And those are consistently very positive.

Shoe repair takes at least two weeks, the glue completely came off after three days. After we went there again, we were told, "The work was not performed by us." Both the management and the staff are an absolute disgrace, they even threatened us and called us liars.

You get yelled at, insulted, and cheated here. Repairing shoes is an absolute disaster and they break again after two days. There is no warranty. I haven't experienced such incompetence and incredible audacity in a long time! The managing director might want to take a course on customer orientation/customer friendliness and, as can be seen from the numerous negative reviews, a shoemaker course.

We have been bringing our things to Mr. Oberländer for years, whether it's repairing shoes, resoling them, or sewing zippers. He always receives and advises us in a friendly and competent manner. I absolutely cannot understand the bad reviews from others!

The absolutely worst cobbler I have ever been to, it was only about fixing a small hole between the sole and upper with a small leather patch, instead a nearly 6cm long patch was applied and the sole was terribly reattached to the shoe. Not even a similar white was used. When I dropped it off, I specifically pointed out how important this shoe is to me due to its age and financial value, and that if they did not feel capable of doing it right, they should just call me to pick it up. Now my shoe is ruined. I would have preferred to see it fall apart than to be as it is now.
